Data protection

Below we will provide you with detailed information about the scope and purpose of our data processing. As the protection of your personal data is of particular concern to us, we strictly adhere to the legal requirements of the GDPR and the DSG when collecting and processing your personal data.

Personal data

The use of our website is generally possible without providing personal data. Apart from the cookies described in detail below, we generally only collect and store the data that you provide to us yourself by entering it in our input masks or by otherwise actively interacting with our website. Personal data is all information that relates to an identified or identifiable natural person. This includes, for example, your name, address, or telephone number, as well as your IP address or geolocation data that allows a conclusion to be drawn about you.

Use of cookies

If you only use our website for information purposes, i.e., if you do not register for a service or provide us with information in any other way - for example, via a contact form - we only collect the personal data that your browser transmits to our server. Therefore, if you want to visit our website, we collect the following data, which is technically necessary for us to display the website to you and to ensure its stability and security in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR: IP address, date and time of the request, time zone, content of the request, access status/http status code, amount of data transferred, website from which the request comes, browser used, operating system and its interface, language and version of the browser software. In addition, when you use our website, first and third-party cookies are stored on your computer; these are small text files that are stored on your hard drive in the browser you are using. The party that sets a cookie (in this case, us and the third parties listed below) thereby receives certain information. We need these cookies on the one hand to recognize you as a user of the website and on the other hand to be able to trace the use of our services. Finally, we use cookies for marketing purposes to analyze your usage behavior and, if necessary, to send you targeted advertising. First-party cookies, third-party cookies, and third-party requests can generally be distinguished.

First-party cookies: First-party cookies are stored in your browser by us or our website itself to provide you with the best possible user experience.

Third-party cookies: Third-party cookies are stored in your browser by a third party. These are mostly tracking or marketing tools that evaluate your user behavior and, on the other hand, allow the third party to recognize you on other visited websites.

Third-party requests: Third-party requests are all requests that you, as a page user, make to third parties via our site - for example, when you interact with social network plugins. In this case, no cookies are stored in your browser, but it cannot be ruled out that personal data may be sent to this third party through the interaction.

Collection and processing of personal data

Personal data that goes beyond the information stored by cookies is processed by us exclusively if you voluntarily provide us with it, for example, if you contact us or enter into a contractual relationship with us. We use the personal data provided by you only to the extent that this is necessary within the framework of fulfilling the respective purpose of the processing and is legally permissible (especially in accordance with Art. 6 GDPR) (e.g., the sending of advertising and information material to existing customers). The purpose of processing your data is to operate our website and to provide targeted company-specific information, including the presentation of our goods and services (marketing). Any use of your data beyond this only takes place if you have given your express consent. Your consent can be revoked at any time. Data that you have provided to us exclusively for customer service or for marketing and informational purposes is generally stored for up to three years after our last contact. However, if you wish, we will also delete your data before the expiration of this period, provided there is no legal obstacle to doing so.

In the case of contract initiation or conclusion, we process your personal data until the complete fulfillment of the contract, and then until the expiration of applicable guarantee, warranty, limitation, and legal retention periods, as well as until the termination of any legal disputes where the data may be required as evidence.

Tools and Applications

On our website, we also provide links to other websites and plugins to various social networks (such as LinkedIn, operated by LinkedIn Inc., 2029 Stierlin Court, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA), only for informational purposes. These websites and social networks are not under our control and therefore not subject to the provisions of this privacy policy. However, if you activate a link or plugin, it is possible that the operator of this website will collect data about you and process it in accordance with their privacy policy, which may differ from ours. Please always check the current privacy policies on the websites we link to.

Data transfer

As a rule, we do not transfer your data to third parties unless we are legally obliged to do so, the data transfer is necessary to perform a contract between us, or you have expressly consented to the transfer of your data. External processors or other cooperation partners only receive your data if it is necessary for the execution of a contract or if we have a legitimate interest in doing so, which we will always disclose on a case-by-case basis. We ensure that any of our processors who come into contact with your personal data comply with the provisions of data protection laws in the same way as we do.

If our contractual partners or processors are located in a third country, i.e. a country outside the European Economic Area (EEA), we will inform you of the consequences of this circumstance in the description of the offer.

As of February 2023.
